Beyond Us & Them is the leading solution-focused 501(c)(3) aimed at ending the loneliness epidemic.

There is an urgent need for transformational change in the institutions we depend on for education, wellbeing and public safety. This historic moment demands a critical assessment of systems and structures that dehumanize and devalue individuals, demoralize agency staff and that perpetuate oppression, marginalization and racism. Beyond Us & Them has practical solutions to address a range of social and cultural crises, from the loneliness epidemic to fractured police-community relations and recidivism.

Our award-winning programs are found in prisons, schools, law enforcement agencies, organizations and in the reentry space for those returning home after incarceration. Our goal is to provide a way for us all to slow down, to recognize our shared humanity, and to find inclusive, cooperative solutions to our most pressing challenges.
